Paper Towns
John Green’s book, Paper Towns, is an amazing book. It is so amazing that it is becoming a movie that is coming out on July 24th of this year. Q is a boy that has romantic feelings for the girl next door, Margo. Margo is a daredevil and an adventurous girl that wants to get out of her hometown. The characters seem to be similar to those in Looking for Alaska. One thing that I found weird about Margo was her odd, constant need for revenge. John Green has a beautiful and well-planned writing style. It is as if the words just effortlessly float off of the page and take me into the book. Through pranks and humor as well as mystery and misunderstanding, Q tries to find out exactly who Margo is and figuring out this mysterious girl.

Has Anyone Seen Jessica Jenkins?
For the fans of the Emily Windsnap series, comes a more tween friendly book (although I still recommend it to all teens) about a perfectly normal girl, Jess, turning invisible in the middle of her geography class. With the help of her friends, she tries to find out how she got this superpower and she has some fun along the way. From making dogs talk, to mannequins moving, I surely got a giggle out of this book. This book will have you on the edge of your seat and holding your breath for what happens next, accompanied by some gasps and grins.
